I am a graduate student researcher who is working on applying machine learning on robot hand to learn grasping strategies from humans. My research work is under supervision of Prof. Cindy Grimm, Prof. Xiaoli Fern and Prof. Ravi Balasubramanian.
My responsibilities as TA generally involve holding office hours, grading assignments and exams, attending lab sessions.
I am a study overseer in a human study experiment that investigates the capabilities of robot hands. I was also exploring my interest in robotics and artificial intelligence.
I was an intern at the company, mainly in charge of modifying CAD drawings of the HVAC designs, coordinating with engineers from other companies, supervising the installation of ventilation ducts and air conditioning systems.
I attended the International Conference of Robots and Systems, which was held in Macau, China, to present my research work in robotic manipulation. I really had a great time meeting people from industry and academia, we talked about potential research ideas, contemporary challenges in robotics and aritificial intelligence. Also, I got to explore Macau, an amazing city that I had never been to before.
